COLLECTIBLE TURKISH RED CRESCENT (TURKIYE KIZILAY CEMIYETI) DONATION STAMPS
Out of circulation. Printed for the purpose of collecting humanitarian aid by the Turkish Red Crescent (that operates in a similar way to the Red Cross does).
Five stamps in two different designs:
1 light brown, 1 blue, and 1 brown 1 kurus stamp (light brown one printed at Pulhan Matbaasi) with a globe and a drowing of the Red Crescent flag (banner)
1 purple 0.5 kurus stamp with the image of a Red Crescent flag in the shape of a flower with watering pales watering it.
1 grey 2.5 kurus stamp with the image of a Red Crescent flag in the shape of a flower with watering pales watering it.
(No date is printed on them but judging by the value on them, they may be from 1940's or 1950's)
